ASPIRING LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

An intensive two-day seminar designed for managers with less than five-years' experience seeking to develop their skills, fundamental leadership concepts and issues are examined and discussed. Participants discover more about their leadership and management styles and create a personal agenda for self-development

Criteria:

  • Minimum 2 years of college

  • 1 to 3 years work experience: in management or administration

  • Entry level and/or new management

EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

This program is a comprehensive twelve week developmental program that provides a unique high-quality learning experience. Participants: better understand their leadership strengths and how they can affect the functioning of their group; develop effective communication and conflict-resolution strategies; learn how to motivate others; and learn how to use influence to gather support for strategic ideas that will help their organization become more productive.

Criteria:

  • Minimum bachelor’s, Master’s preferred

  • 8 years managerial or administrative work experience

  • Middle to upper management status

EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

This is an intensive two-day seminar for experienced senior executives.   It uses a roundtable discussion format comprised of content experts and experienced professionals designed to maximize the exchange of experiences and career strategies used by African American executives.

Participants become more skilled in assessing and addressing a broad range of global strategic issues while extending their capacity for total leadership.  

Criteria:

  • Minimum bachelor's, Master's preferred
  • 8 years managerial or administrative work experience
  • Middle to upper management status
